The works are located on the outskirts of the municipality of Bu¬charest Sector 1 in the intersection of bd. We Bucurestii with str. Durau Straulesti until the “Straulesti bridge” and the intersection with str. Ctin Godeanu, on the south side of the lake Straulesti . The works mainly consist of: • Workings of civil structure of 2 new metro stations called “ Straulesti “ (339 ml length, width 21m) and “Laminorului” (286 ml length, width 21m), made with top-down execution technology. The two stations are inclusive of and access to all the related te¬chnologies; - Deposit “Straulesti” includes 7 parking lines and 5 lines of re¬vision rolling stock (approximately 140m length), construction of the deposit made with top-down execution technology. - Artificial tunnel link between the deposit and the Straulesti Straulesti station (about 200m long), made with top-down exe¬cution technology. - Multimodal terminal access for cars, made of the surface at the coverage of the deposit “Straulest”; - water disposal and ventilation shafts and wells of great depth to draw down the ground water into the station ; - The processes relating to civil underground construction, whether or stations deposit, are made simultaneously to a dewa¬tering system, with the aim of lowering the level of ground water present in the underground (about 7m from the surface); •the two interstations are two single track lines called Parc Ba¬zilescu - Laminorului (184 ml) and Laminorului - Straulesti (607 ml) are carried out by means of mechanized excavation trogught TBM (tunel boring machine) type EPB (earth pressure balanced), with a diameter excavation of 6.6 m. - The manufacturing process of tunnel made with EPB shield type, are preceded by massive treatments of soil consolidation in and out of the stations in the protection and waterproofing. The treatment consists of injections of cement - bentonite mixtures which cover a section of the tunnel equal for a distance of 15m in length.
