The contract, concerning the fesability study, the technical and the detail design of the all building structures of the the U.S. Navy military complex in Dal Molin area, next to Vicenza (Italy), was assigned to the engineers Schioppa, Del Gaudio and Ramasco in partnership with other professionals.
The work, executed by the "Cooperativa Muratori e Cementisti CMC di Ravenna", on behalf of the U.S. Navy, concerned the construction of the entire military complex for a total of almost thirty buildings. The structures, designed from the preliminary phase, have been completed in less than four years; Most of the designed buildings are made by concrete frame, or mixed equivalent to reinforced concrete frames with prefabricated slabs and roof slabs; some buildings also have steel and laminated slabs structures.
