Italrom Inginerie Internationala, in joint venture (40%) with Metroul (Leader), Sistema and Arex, awarded the tender for the Supervision work of Braila Bridge, one of the most important bridge of the world. The tender, published at the end of 2018 and done in the middle of 2019, was assigned for a total ammount of approximatly 7,3 Mln of Euro; 

This great result is an important targhet for ITR Group after ten years from the establishment of the rumenian company and coinciding with a new important development of the group's activity with the opening of the new office in Paris.

The Braila Bridge is a road suspension bridge over the Danube river in Romania, which connects the city of Braila and the Tulcea region. The project involves the construction of a suspension bridge with a total length of 1,974.30 m, divided into the central span of 1,120 m long and the two lateral spans of 489.65 m and 364.65 m respectively on the Braila river bank and Tulcea side. The two access viaduct of 110 m long in addition to 23 km of road connection, complete the entire work. The realization will be developed by the Italian–Japanese Joint Venture established by Astaldi (Leader) and IHI Infrastructure Systems; 

The estimated cost of the entire work is about € 450 million. (2,0 Bilion od RON). The construction will be developed for the next four years.
